Installation

Download and install CadNic on your operating system.

Download

CadNic provides direct binary downloads with no email gates or account creation required.

Download CadNic — Choose your operating system and architecture.

Windows

Installer (Recommended)

1. Download the .exe installer from the download page
2. Run the installer as administrator
3. Follow the installation wizard
4. Launch CadNic from the Start menu

Portable Version

1. Download the .zip archive
2. Extract to your preferred location
3. Run CadNic.exe directly

macOS

DMG Installer

1. Download the .dmg file
2. Open the DMG and drag CadNic to Applications
3. First launch: right-click → Open (Gatekeeper workaround)
4. Subsequent launches: normal double-click

Homebrew (Community)

brew install --cask cadnic

Linux

AppImage

1. Download the .AppImage file
2. Make executable: chmod +x CadNic.AppImage
3. Run: ./CadNic.AppImage

Debian/Ubuntu

sudo dpkg -i cadnic.deb
sudo apt-get install -f  # Fix any missing dependencies

Fedora/RHEL

sudo rpm -i cadnic.rpm

Verify Installation

After installation, verify CadNic is working:

1. Launch the application
2. You should see the main dashboard
3. Check the version in the title bar or About menu
